About Me
Alex runs Continual Professional Developments seminars featuring specialists for not only LifeCare Dental dentists but for all dentists and nurses in Perth who wish to attend to further their education. Alex has presided over 20 of these lectures himself, many of which are taped and added to YouTube.
In 1998 Alex was involved in one of the two yearly Australian Dental Association conferences where four of his dentists conducted a live implant demonstration on stage. He has presented at a Dental Corporation Australia conference on building a successful practice and is a member of the Australian Dental Society, Prosthodontic Society, Periodontics Society, Endodontics Society and Osseo- integration Society.
Alex has been performing dental implants since 1998 and has done more than 2000 surgical placements of implants. He has also completed more than 10000 wisdom teeth removals, offering in house local and IV sedation or general anaesthetic services at the hospital.
For the last 10 years Alex has been providing dermal fillers and facial injections in conjunction with his dental treatment to provide complete dento-facial aesthetics. These can provide relief for people suffering from TMJ and can help with a gummy smile (see below photo). With his passion for continuing education he recently updated his training and completed the AADFA course for Dento- Facial Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler.
In his spare time, Alex enjoys travelling with his family, relaxing down south and skiing. He is also an avid gym enthusiast, working out regularly at the ‘Mill Gym’. Alex and his wife Kate are supporters of the Military Arts Programme and conduct charity events to raise money for SAS Trust and Clearance Divers Association. Alex speaks fluent Romanian and has visited Papua New Guinea for volunteer work.
