About Me

In 2021, she successfully completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics at James Cook University and her paper “The appeal of ‘Do it Yourself’ orthodontic clear aligners: A Youtube Analysis” was published in the Australasian Orthodontic Journal. Megan has also completed other extensive post graduate study, including successfully completing The Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons Fellowship Programme (2017) and the Canadian Dental Board Examinations.

After working with the University of Western Australia for a year, she spent four years in full time private practice in Geraldton before starting at LifeCare Dental in 2018. Through her experience, she has been able to develop her skills in in all aspects of general dentistry and finds alleviating dental pain and creating a healthy smile for her patients to be particularly rewarding.

Megan’s patients know her as a gentle dentist. Her kind, caring and non-judgemental nature gives her the ability to put even the most anxious patients at ease. She strongly believes an evidence-based approach is essential in achieving the best outcome for her patients.

Megan is community minded and believes in giving back. She has worked with several volunteer organisations to provide dental care to those in need in rural Queensland, Nepal and Cambodia. In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with friends and family, walking her dog Mila, and Crossfit.
