Dr. Sam Rigby has been around dentistry his whole life, his parents now retired Dental surgeons would have Sam working in their practice from an early age answering phone calls at reception and completing simple lab work.
Sam always knew he would become a dentist it was his one and only career choice. Originally from the Lake District, U.K aged 18 Sam commenced studying Dentistry at the University of Leeds.
Sam had excellent tuition over 5 years from one of the U.Ks top dental schools and additional to his studies he completed an oral surgery elective in Zanzibar helping their local schools and villages with dental emergencies which Sam found greatly rewarding.
Sam graduated in 2011 from the University of Leeds to be awarded his Bachelor of Dental Surgery. In 2012 he completed GDP foundation training with the Yorkshire Deanery greatly broadening his skills and worked with the National Health service for a short time before he emigrated to Perth to enjoy the Australian life style and work in private practice.
Sam has been providing the high standard general dentistry since then and particularly enjoys oral surgery, root canal therapy, crowns, bridges, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
Sam prides himself on having a gentle touch, calming manor and is a strong believer in minimally invasive treatment.
Sam is currently studying a two year course in Orthodontics, Orthopaedics and Sleep Therapy in Sydney.
Sam and his wife, Bronx, have settled in Highgate and they are thrilled to welcome their first child Hunter-Rose to the family.
Sam is an amicable hard working clinician with strong family values, in his spare time enjoys Skiing, Snowboarding, Golf and Rugby.
