LifeCare Dental paid a visit to the Boronia Pre-Release Centre for Women today.
Boronia Pre-release Centre for Women manages minimum-security female prisoners and their children in a community-style setting, and adopts a forward-looking model that recognises the diverse needs of women in prison. The centre currently houses 92 women and 10 children (all under the age of 4). We had a group of 10 women and 4 babies attending our dental workshop!
Jamie-Lee went through a series of oral health tips for mother’s in terms of baby teeth care, nutrition and brushing techniques. We also spoke on the importance of preventative dental care for yourself through brushing your teeth and flossing.
If you have a facility that might be interested in these workshops please contact us at LifeCare Dental.
