Zoom Teeth Whitening
Whiten teeth up to 8 shades in less than 1 hourProfessional whitening tailored to your teeth for a comfortable experience.
Advanced Technology
The Zoom! in-chair whitening procedure uses light activated technology for better teeth whitening results. Clinically proven to whiten teeth up to 8 shades in less than 1 hour, the LED technology is more effective than non-light activated systems.
How does it work?
A complimentary tooth whitening consultation is required to determine your suitability for whitening. Once that has been completed, your gums are isolated and protected with a special guard material before the whitening gel is applied to your teeth. A special hydrogen peroxide formula is used to break down the staining in your teeth.
Complimented with the latest Philips Zoom White Speed Whitening LED Accelerator light, this makes the process even more efficient improving whitening results by up to 40% compared to non-light activated systems. This newest light-activated technology has been clinically proven to whiten teeth up to 8 shades lighter in as little as 45 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is tooth whitening safe?
- How long will my Philips Zoom results last?
- What causes teeth to discolour?
Yes. Clinical studies have shown that whitening your teeth with carbamide or hydrogen peroxide under the supervision of a dental professional is safe for teeth and gums.
Whitening treatments help to reduce existing stains, but through consumption of coffee and soft drinks or just through natural aging, your teeth may eventually become discoloured again. Maintenance whitening can help combat recurring discolouration.
There are many causes of tooth discolouration. Some of the most common include the consumption of highly coloured foods and drinks (berries, coffee, tea, red wine). Some medications, aging, smoking and trauma can also cause teeth discolouration.
- Are there any side effects?
- Will whitening damage my teeth and existing dental treatment?
Although the ZOOM whitening gel utilises ACP and potassium nitrate for extra relief without compromising on the quality of your whitening treatment. The most common side effect is temporary tooth sensitivity; this is generally experienced during or after treatment but usually goes away within 1-3 days after whitening.
Some people do not experience any sensitivity, whilst others find it similar to ice-cream sensitivity. Your dental professional will also advise you of other ways to minimise any temporary sensitivity.
The ZOOM whitening gel contains ACP and potassium nitrate which does not weaken, damage, soften or remove the enamel of your teeth and it has no adverse effects on existing dental work such as fillings or crowns. In fact it protects your enamel and gives your teeth a greater lustre and smoothness!
